  • Register to QuickBooks using your license number and business information and click on submit.
  • Read the agreement of license and click Accept.
  • Next, click on the download button and then Download now link.
  • Put in the token number (that you would receive in your email) when asked.
  • Select the QuickBooks version you are using from the drop-down menu.
  • Click Browse and find and select the QuickBooks Company File that needs password reset.
  • Type in a new password and confirm the same.
  • If the password reset is for an Accountant Copy working file such as .QBA. You will have to type *.* in the file name box and hit Enter to be able to see and choose .QBA files.
  • Click on Reset Password.

Important: You should now be able to log in to your company file using the new password you just created using the above given steps. We recommended you to use the password reset tool for one time. If you will try to do it again then the verification form will need to be filled out again to generate a new token access.
